Hummus and Bubbly!

Hi Friends,

Washington DC was quite the trip last week! I want to show you a lunch that Karin and I had at this new cafe called Pound. It is a relatively new spot in town, just a short walk from Capitol Hill. It is a must-see!

How handy! This is exactly what we ordered :-)

The chilled Yukon Gold Potato Soup was incredibly delicious...cooling us off after running around The Capitol Building. We had worked up quite the appetite...and some bubbly was required. Yes, that's how Mark and Karin roll!

Eventually our hats get bored and decide to finish lunch on their own...

  We enjoyed this lunch so much that on Saturday, my last full day in DC, we returned and brought FRIENDS. Enjoy yourselves sometime. DC isn't all politics and stuffy suits after all...
